Cheech Marin Stars In First Film In 34 Years!
We all remember the infamous Cheech and Chong movie series. A classic when it comes to stoner movies however the series came to an end in 1983, as well as Marin's big screen appearances. Excitingly, the pot-idol will be returning to acting in a new independent film entitled Dark Harvest.
The film, written and directed by James Hutson, follows the struggles of two growers and a suspended narcotics officer as they deal with a series of murders on the eve of marijuana legalization. Hutson's directorial debut stars himself, A.C. Peterson, Tygh Runyan, Hugh Dillon and Cheech Marin.
Dark Harvest was featured at the New York Cannabis Festival and won both best film and best actor awards. It was also shown at the Cannabis Film Festival in Colorado and had a special screening at the High Times Cannabis Cup Festival in Las Vegas.
The film will be available on all digital platforms on January 9th, 2018
