Fifth Harmony Member Caught With Weed At Airport

While heading to her flight to Brazil at Dulles Airport in Virginia, Lauren Jauregi of Fifth Harmony was subjected to a secondary security search by TSA. Upon their search, she was found with marijuana in her possession.

TMZ originally stated that Lauren was arrested however, Dina LaPolt, attorney for Fifth Harmony, released a statement saying otherwise.

Lauren Jauregui was not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance. She will address the matter appropriately through the legal system. This will not interfere with any future scheduled performances or activities.

The flowers were found in Lauren's carry-on bag. After being released and given a summons to appear in court, she flew to São Paulo with her band mates but did not appear on stage.
