Former NFL Player Arrested For Possession

Last Friday, former NFL wide receiver, Jabar Gaffney, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Jacksonville, Florida.  Gaffney was pulled over due to erratic driving and illegally tinted windows.

Jabar was caught with 6.5 grams of cannabis in his vehicle. He was arrested and taken to jail, with a bond set for $7,000. It is unknown what legal proceedings will take place moving forward with his case.

Gaffney spent 11 years in the NFL. While he did not turn out to be the star he was expected to be, the second round draft pick completed 447 receptions, 5,690 yards and 24 touchdowns during his time in the league.
