Snoop Dogg Invests In Canadian Cannabis

Snoop Dogg does it again! The rapper/herbalist has already entered the cannabis industry by introducing his marijuana brand, Leafs by Snoop. Now, the cannabis connoisseur is expanding his marijuana market to Canada by partnering with Tweed.

Snoop D-O-double G will become the face of the marijuana industry in Canada. In return, Snoop Dogg will become an official partner in the company and be compensated with cash and Tweed stock.

“Today we’re announcing our partnership and welcoming him to one of Canada’s most exciting industries," said Mark Zekulin, Tweed’s President. "Over the coming months we’ll unveil the specifics, and until then all I can say is ‘stay tuned,'”

Snoop and Tweed have entered a deal for the next three years. After three years, there will be an option to extend for two more years.
