'The Marijuana Show' Expected To Be A Hit!
Karen Paull and Wendy Robbins, co-creators of the new online series The Marijuana Show, have received feedback from both internal and external sources that leads them to believe that their show will be a hit. The reality show will debut on November 18th and will help people getting started in the marijuana business and help develop their plans. Then, they will pair them with investors who can help their business dreams bloom.
After Robbins and Paull announced their plans, they received a strong, positive reaction from business people that are already in the marijuana industry. Although they were nervous to tell their parents, they received encouraging reactions from them as well. “It took time to tell our parents,” Paull said. “We didn’t know how they would feel about (The Marijuana Show). We are all coming out of the cannabis closet. In fact, it was easier to talk to our parents about being gay than to talk about marijuana."
The Marijuana show intends to change that feeling. Robbins encourages all ganjapreneurs to come out to Denver November 15-16 to pitch being on the second season. They're looking for informative, educational and entertaining people to be on their show. Established businesses and brand new companies are welcomed to audition. More than 200 pitches auditioned for the first season and was narrowed down to 22 entrants, then 10 finalists.
The ladies are the first women to do a marijuana related show, but they know they won't be the last. They are excited to see how the public reacts to "The Marijuana Show" with confidence that it will be well received. Robbins is a two-time Emmy winner for documentary directing/producing, has co-starred in the TV series "Homemade Millionaire" with Kelly Ripa and has written, directed and appeared in reality shows on the multiple television networks.
