Wendy Williams' Son Addicted To Synthetic Weed
On Monday, Wendy Williams confessed to her live studio audience that her 14 year old son has been admitted into rehab for his addiction to synthetic marijuana. Fans of Williams are probably familiar with her battle with drugs in the past. Wendy and her husband, Kevin Hunter Sr., decided the best move was to send Kevin Jr. to a rehabilitation facility outside of the U.S.
Wendy admitted that her teenage so. had been exposed to synthetic marijuana by a loved one whom her son looked up to. She said, “I was duped. Our kid had been smoking this mess. He got turned out…to the point where he went off the rails for a moment.”
As you probably know, synthetic weed, also known as K-2, is a very dangerous drug that attempts to give the effects of THC. Synthetic marijuana is extremely dangerous and has been known to have sent many children to the hospital. “It’s one of those pens where you don’t see the smoke, and you don’t smell anything,” she told her audience. “I’m trying to make funny on the tour, but in actuality my heart is breaking, and my kid could have been dead.”
After going through Kevin Jr.'s bedroom, Wendy and her husband discovered the drug. Being that it took a little detective work to find it, Wendy encourages parents to be hands on when it comes to their children. “To the parents and guardians who are watching right now, just talk to your kids," she said. “I’m glad to say our boy is on the good side of good now.”
