Jackie Chan's Son Arrested In Weed Bust
Last month, international martial arts movie superstar Jackie Chan's son, Jaycee Chan, was arrested during a raid that resulted in 110 grams of marijuana being recovered. The infamous actor's son was busted with two other friends that were arrested for selling cannabis. Jaycee Chan tested positive for pot and has admitted to smoking weed since 2006.
Chan is being held in custody and faces up to three years if convicted of "hosting others to take drugs." His friend, Taiwanese actor Kai Ko, received a 14-day prison sentence for weed consumption.
ackie Chan has reported to be "heartbroken" and "ashamed" of the news. Being that Jackie Chan is a a “Narcotics Control Ambassador” for the Chinese police, his son's activities are pretty awkward for him.
Ko made a tearful video statement, saying, "I very much regret about what happened. I'm very sorry to those who support me, like me or even know me personally. I just want to tell them I'm really sorry. I've set the worst example, which had the most terrible influence. And this is a huge mistake."
