40 Lbs. Found In Headstone
Smugglers attempt to ship cannabis inside of a headstone. The marble headstone was being moved in a box through Mexico City International Airport when when police K9's alerted customs to search inside.
The package was being sent from Zapopan in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Inside was a headstone that read: 'In loving memory of Pedro Huerta - to love in the hearts of those we love is never to die.' When officers decided to break the headstone, they discovered a hidden plastic parcel of suspicious green herbs, which was later identified as 40 pounds marijuana, according to the Daily Mail.
This discovery comes a week after 10 tons of marijuana was seized inside of smuggling tunnel leading from Tiajuana to San Diego. The cannabis has been turned over to Mexican police while they investigate the matter.
