Football Field Sized Marijuana Farm Found In Australia

Police in New South Wales, Australia discovered nearly 8,500 cannabis plants growing in a national park on a remote walking path nicknamed the "Hell Hole Trail." The plants found on the far north coast totaled in approximately $8.6 million in street value.

The plants were discovered during a raid conducted by the NSW Police's Cannabis Eradication Program, which has been in operation since the 1980's. After they were found, the cannabis plants were destroye (burned) by authorities.
