Jersey Woman Arrested For Swallowing Weed

Two women were pulled over in Elmwood Park, New Jersey last month.  Chief Michael Foligno claimed to have smelt marijuana on the passengers breath after Jasmin Jeter admitted to eating several bags of marijuana to get rid of the evidence.  

Although Jeter showed no signs of being under the influence, authorities called paramedics anyway, stating, "EMTs and paramedics examined her but she refused medical treatment, Foligno said. She was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and destruction of evidence and released pending a court date."

Jeter refused medical treatment and was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and destruction of evidence.  She was released with a pending a court date.
