MMJ Involved In Hoboken Car Crash
A Hoboken man flips his car at about 5:45 a.m. between 10th and 11th streets. The solo driver injured no one but himself it was fortunately able to get out of the car on his own before police arrived.
It is still unknown how Grancis Varrone flipped his Mini Cooper. However, he did admit to police that he took prescription medicine before driving. In his car, police found a glass marijuana pipe, prescribed medicine, unknown pills, and a bottle of marijuana.
Due to his injuries, Varrone was not given a breathalyzer test but he did agree to giving a blood sample. After being taken to Hoboken University Medical Center, police charged Varrone with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle.
