Man Arrested For Selling Fake Weed
Harrisburg police arrested a man for allegedly supplying people with Darkness - a type of synthetic marijuana. Nearly 20 people have admitted to being sick after consuming the dangerous substance.
Cops and drug agents found four bags of synthetic marijuana and multiple empty bags in the home of Robert Dixon, 48. Dixon is accused of selling synthetic cannabis to people in his neighborhood, including a confidential police informant. The arrest was made after 20 people admitted to being treated for overdosing on synthetic marijuana between July 27-30. The local emergency room had seen patients experiencing advanced delirium, with many of them having to be revived.
Eleven people were found in the house on the 1600 block of Chestnut street in Harrisburg on Tuesday. Many occupants of the household were arrested and charged with drug infractions, while Dixon was arraigned and placed in Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
