Man Shot Dead Over Fake Weed

Decatur, Alabama police report a man was found shot to death inside a vehicle on Wadsworth Street last Friday morning. It is believed the murder had occurred after Brandon Terrell Harris, 30, sold synthetic marijuana to two suspects.

Jovan Deante Anderson and Gary Lorenzo Hill, both 24, are suspected to have been sold some synthetic cannabis by Harris. When the two discovered it was fake, they returned to his house to retaliate. Witnesses say they heard several gun shots while police believe Anderson and Hill Police stood outside Harris' vehicle and fired 9mm rounds at him, hitting him in the back and arm. One witness says he received a call from Hill asking him to recover the shells from the bullets. 

Harris' body was found after police received calls about unauthorized use of a vehicle.
