U.S. Marine Arrested For Growing Pot
On Sunday, around 10:00 p.m in Geronimo, Oklahoma, Comanche County deputies responded to a domestic disturbance complaint on Arapaho Street. Kristoffer Lewandowski, 32, was seen chasing his wife around the house with a knife. After barricading Lewandowsk in the home, he came outside and surrendered. That's when deputies entered the home and discovered nine growing marijuana plants.
Along with the plants, growing equipment and two guns were found as well. “When we get there and we find out we have marijuana there that's being grown, it seems to get worse," said Comanche County Sheriff Kenny Stradley. "And then with children present this is a bad situation gone worse for the whole entire family."
Lewandowski is currently enlisted in the U.S. Marines. He is now facing charges of cultivating marijuana, paraphernalia and domestic assault in the presence of a child. Lewandowski is now in the Comanche County Detention Center, awaiting further investigation by the military police.
