MMJ Oil Now Allowed In Virginia
The General Assembly has passed a bill allowing cannabidiol, or CBD, to be produced and distributed in Virginia. The bill is sponoserd by Senator Dave Marsden, who supports children with epilepsy being able to have access to CBD.
The Board of Pharmacy will have to create regulations for the safety and availability of cannabis oil in the state of Virginia.
Marsden stated, "Marijuana is a plant and there is a process by which you can derive these oils from that plant that can help people, and help our young children."
Their regulations will be brought before the General Assembly next year for the final approval.
