Montana Man Facing Life For Pot

22-year-old man Chance McKenzie Bowen was arrested on Friday night after Missouri River Drug Task Force officers discovered a massive marijuana growth operation in and around his home.  Officers counted over 175 cannabis plants after receiving several tips that there was a garden of marijuana on Graham Street in Helena.

Police had a search warrant when they arrived at Bowen's residence and executed a search of the property, finding 178 plants, lights and ventilation systems.  Bowen admitted to being the owner of the entire operation and was charged with one count of felony criminal production or manufacturing of dangerous drugs.  He could be looking at anywhere from two years to life in prison.
