New York: 23rd State To Legalize Marijuana!
On Thursday morning, supporters of the medical marijuana bill from all over New York state flooded the capital to hear that New York would be the 23rd state to legalize the use of medical marijuana! Governor Cuomo agreed that under new provisions, medical marijuana will be grown at greenhouses and each may have five dispensaries. This, along with other rules, will make New York the strictest state allowing the use of medical marijuana.
The traditional smoking of the cannabis plant is prohibited however patients will be allowed to vape. The bill, similar to Colorado, also plans to aim at distributing baked edibles. Making sure that marijuana edibles are clearly differentiated between regular brands so that marijuana doesn't get into the wrong hands.
New York is now entering the cannabis market. Congratulations New York!
