North Dakota Legalizes Medical Marijuana
Measure 5 has been approved in the state of North Dakota. Patients who suffer from conditions such as cancer, AIDS, hepatitis C, ALS, glaucoma, and epilepsy will now be qualified for medical marijuana cards by a physician.
The Departmentof Health will issue ID-cards as well as regulate non-profit compassion centers (dispensaries). The measure also allows those who live at least 40 miles away from a dispensary to grow up to eight plants in their home.
