Ohio House To Vote On MMJ Bill

The Ohio legislative panel ha cleared a medical marijuana proposal, which is now headed to the House of Representatives for a vote next week.

Patients will only be allowed to vape under this bill, no smoking will be allowed. The legislation would approve the Medical Marijuana Control Commission to set the rules for cultivating, distributing and licensing cannabis.

Communities would be able to opt out of allowing dispensaries to set up shop in their neighborhoods.

Polls suggest that many Ohians are for medical marijuana legalization.
