Wyoming To Ban Possession Of Edibles

The state of Wyoming claims to have been seeing an increase in marijuana edibles since the legalization of recreational cannabis in neighboring Colorado. The state's lawmakers are currently struggling to put the ban of cannabis infused edibles into words however, on Monday the Senate voted to advance a bill that would put a limit to the amount of edibles that can be possessed by a person.

Senators continue to argue about the measurements of marijuana concentrations infused in each edible as well as its potency. Despite that fact, the Senate still proposes a bill that would make the possession of more than 3 ounces of marijuana edibles a felony. Those charged with a felony for edible possession will also be denied the ability to contest that the amount they possessed was less than the equivalent of less than three ounces of actual marijuana plant material.
